How quiXzoom processes field data.

From field capture to structured delivery — every step documented for enterprise transparency

Built for auditability. Every observation delivered through quiXzoom carries a complete provenance record — from the device that captured it to the structured data point delivered to the commissioning organisation.

5-Step Pipeline
1
Capture
Zoomer photographs the mission target using the quiXzoom app.
  • GPS coordinates locked at capture start
  • Photo taken with full EXIF metadata: device model, timestamp, GPS coordinates, focal length
  • Submission uploaded with: image, GPS trace, timestamp, device fingerprint, mission ID
  • Contributor ID is pseudonymised — not stored in delivered output
2
Validation
GPS accuracy, specification compliance, and AI image review applied to every submission.
  • GPS coordinates validated against mission target; out-of-tolerance submissions auto-rejected
  • GPS accuracy class assigned: coarse / balanced / precise
  • AI image review: object detection, technical quality scoring, specification compliance check
  • Quality score assigned on a scale of 0–100
3
Approval
AI score at or above threshold, or human review for borderline submissions.
  • Submissions scoring above the approval threshold are accepted automatically
  • Borderline submissions (score 40–60) routed to human reviewer
  • Human review decision logged with reviewer ID and timestamp
  • Appeals process available for rejected submissions
  • Approval rate target: 85% or above
4
Structuring
Approved observation converted to a structured data point with source attribution preserved.
  • Entity extraction: location, object type, condition class, change signal
  • Temporal indexing: observation timestamped; version history maintained
  • Source attribution preserved: GPS accuracy class, AI score, review pathway
5
Delivery
Structured data delivered to the commissioning organisation with a complete audit trail.
  • Delivered to the commissioning organisation via the agreed channel (API / dashboard / file export)
  • Each data point includes provenance: capture timestamp, GPS accuracy class, review pathway
  • Full audit trail available on request for enterprise contracts
Data Retention
90 days
Raw images after delivery
Per contract
Structured data — default per client agreement

Right to erasure is supported. Deletion is confirmed within 30 days of a valid request. Contact: legal@quixzoom.com

Data Residency
EU-only — AWS eu-north-1, Stockholm
All data is stored in the EU on AWS eu-north-1. No data is transferred outside the EU without explicit instruction from the commissioning organisation and appropriate safeguards in place.
